Michele Haynes

For the past 18 years I have lived in the Barbican with my husband and two teenage children.

I have always had a passion for interiors, even whilst studying marketing.  I found I just couldn’t resist attending 100% design and a myriad of other interior shows, years before I started planning to work in this field.

I studied and worked in marketing for Habitat and other companies and have a strong eye for presentation.

Attended KLC School of Design in Chelsea and know that good design and styling also requires good spatial planning and attention to detail.  But more importantly any designed space must always address a client’s practical needs first and only by incorporating those practical issues along with creativity, can you produce long term beautiful interiors for clients.

Whilst I am detail orientated, organised and good at project managing, every job is different and I really want to provide a personal and individual touch.

I am genuinely passionate about creating beautiful contemporary homes.

The beauty of designing projects for clients, is that there is always variety (as no two days are ever the same).  You are always looking for and meeting new suppliers and designers and thinking creatively.  Plus there is usually a degree of problem solving thrown in, which certainly keeps me on my toes.

As Sir Terence Conran said many years ago “Form follows function” and I try to bear that in mind on my projects.
